Mrs. Paschall's English Classes

Elizabethan England Theater & Entertainment

You are leading a tour group through England in the 1600s, and your task is to make sure your clients understand proper forms of entertainment. You should focus on the theater, music, games and any other form of entertainment you feel is appropriate. You can either answer these questions through a (1) preliminary letter to the tour group (see pp. 1063-5 in your lit book for examples), (2) a brochure, or (3) any other creative way that you propose to Mrs. Paschall. Simply make sure to print out your final version and turn it in.

Be sure to answer the following questions:
What do people enjoy doing for entertainment?
What forms of entertainment are the most popular?
What is it like to attend the theater?

You may use the following official sources. You may also use any other reliable and credible sources you can find. Keep a record of your sources, and place them on a Works Cited page when you are finished.
